There is always a lot of pressure on physical copies of library books at the end of term. Speak to a member of Library staff if you are having trouble getting hold of a book, (we may be able to get an extra copy) but you may also want to explore the University’s ebook collections.

With over 2.5 million hits last year alone, our e-book collections are incredibly popular, and new books are being added all the time by the ebooks@cambridge team.

You can find ebooks through LibrarySearch.  The format filters along the top of the page and in the side-bar can help you narrow down your search (see the image below).

Most ebooks can be accessed both on- or off-campus (you will be prompted to login via Raven to access some titles off-campus).

For more information on ebooks, visit the ebooks@cambridge webpage. You can also contact the ebooks team on ebooks@lib.cam.ac.uk if you have any questions, or your Faculty/Departmental librarians if you want to recommend an ebook title.
