The Deputy Librarian of the Pepys Library and Special Collections, Catherine Sutherland, has published an essay in a collection entitled ‘Libraries, Books and Collectors of Texts, 1600-1900’ edited by Annika Bautz and James Gregory and published by Routledge. This publication grew out of a conference with the same name hosted by the University of Plymouth in 2015.
The essay is entitled ‘Samuel Pepys and John Evelyn: A “Collecting Friendship” as Told Through a Re-evaluation of Manuscript PL 2237 and Print Album PL 2062 in the Pepys Library, Magdalene College Cambridge’.
